Estate 14K yellow gold and authentic "Atocha silver" recreation coin by Marcial de Gomar. Marcial de Gomar used authentic silver bars and rough coinage from the Nuestra Señora de Atocha to make quality recreations of period accurate coins from approximately 1652. The piece of 8 (8 reale) features the later (1652+) Pillars and Waves design. The coin is set into a 14K yellow gold, custom made, coin frame with a shackle-style bail. The pendant measures 44mm in length, 35mm in width, and weighs 20.9 grams.
